30 in 3

This drill is almost the same as a 3 man weave but it puts more pressure on executing lay-ups and making good passes.

Instructions

Someone with a ball starts in the middle of the key, then passes to a player to his right on the side line. That player then passes to another teammate who has been sprinting down the opposite sideline (meanwhile the player who started with the ball runs on the outside of who he passed it to). Lastly once the third player catches the ball he throws it back to the player who started with the ball who makes a lay-up…..this is 1… the goal is to make 30 in 3 minutes.

Variations

Use heavy-weight training ball once mastered.

Focus on every pass and executing every lay-up.
