51 drill

The object of this drill is strictly for conditioning purposes. It involves high intensity sprints.

Instructions

Place player A on the baseline. Have them run baseline to baseline as fast as possible five times in 51 seconds or less.

Variations

This may be done while dribbling, extending said time at your judgment. Also this drill may be done in teams of two while chest passing.

Tips

Make sure players know the object is conditioning but more importantly that maximum effort is being given regardless of player A successfully completing the drill.
