Conditioning Strength Line
Helps arm strength and conditioning.
Instructions
Have your team get in on the perimeter of the court. They should be close together. Give the first person a medicine ball. Start running. They should hold it over their heads and then pass it behind them until the medicine ball gets to the end of the line. The person at the end of the line then sprints to the front of the line (with the ball over their head), and passes the ball back. This continues until every player has sprinted to the front of the line.
If a player drops the ball after the drill is over have them do sprints. Also shoot foul shots after the drill because players will need a break.
Players should not have big gaps between them because it increases the time of the run.
Variations
You can use more than one medicine ball one starting in the middle and one starting at the end. You can also have the players have to sprint to the front more than one time.
Tips
This drill will probably last around 10 minutes depending on the amount of players and their conditioning. It is very tiring so be lenient. Stay as close as possible so it is easier to catch the ball.
