Defensive key slides

Quick and helpful.

Instructions

Start at the bottom of the key on one side, run in full sprint towards the elbow stuttering your feet and calling out “shot“as you approach.Come to a stop at the elbow in a defensive stance slide diagonally so that you end up at the opposite side of the key you started at. Do this 10 times or for 2 minutes.

Variations

Start the same but instead slide along the foul line and run back wards down the other side of the key, then do the grape vine along the baseline. Repeat at least 5 times each side or do each side for 1 min.

Tips

Stay low and don’t bring your feet together when sliding.
