Follow up
Helps shooting, rebounding, following shot, and shooting form if done correct.
Instructions
Have a player shoot a free throw or a jump shot from the free throw line. Then have another player behind the 3 point line. If the 1st player makes his free throw or jump shot the other player has to run a lap. If he misses both players go for the rebound. If the shooter gets it, he or she has to put the shot back up quickly and if he makes the 2nd shot the non shooting person has to run a lap. If the non shooter gets the rebound he turns and takes it the length of the court. If he misses the shoot the original shooter has to run 1 lap for not getting the rebound. If he makes the shot make it 2 laps.
Variations
Make them run more laps or have 2 non shooters, then when they get the rebounding and take it the length of the court it is teaching them 2-1 transition offense and 1-2 transition defense.
Skills
Shooting and rebounding.
