Luis’ drill

Hard nose-basic-all around type of drill who work from ball handling to shooting.

Instructions

Using an a agility ladder positioned in one wing in the court, start moving your feet inside-outside-side-to-side with your near foot first. Every player who start need to have a ball holding it with both hands, body in defensive stance at full velocity goint forward. After finish with ladder, make a jump stop, square with basket, and pass it to the coach in the opposite wing. After the pass, make a “V” cut (hole of the paint to the Top of the key), call the passer and make target to receive pass. After receive pass, establish a pivot and conduct triple threat attack. With leading shoulder down, when do the triple threat attack, start your layups transition until basket is made.

Variations

You can reached a variety of foot coordination exercises using the agility ladder. Also when receive in top of the key, you can receive and shoot like having a game situation coming from screen.

Tips

Ask for full throttle effort.
