Quickfire shooting
Shooters need to be able to take shots from different positions and maintain their accuracy even when tired.
Instructions
One shooter one rebounder/coach. Identify 5 shooting positions and number them. 1 might be the free throw line, 2 at three point range in a corner, 3 to the right just outside the lane etc. Rebounder takes the ball under the basket and calls a number. Shooter runs to that position, receives pass from rebounder and shoots. rebounder gets rebound and calls another number. Shooter runs, receives pass etc. Continue until shooter is tired.
Variations
Positions can be changed according to skill/strength of shooter. The drill can be run at a very fast pace.
Tips
Rebounder coach can look out for deterioration in technique as tiredness creeps in and advise shooter.
If anyone finds a drill I worked out useful I would be really flattered.
