Retrieve the Ball

A drill used to strengthen skills at retrieving loose balls and making layups.

Instructions

Make 2 lines behind the baseline…Have the coach in the middle of the 2 lines…The coach rolls a ball toward the halfcourt area while the first person in one line goes after it and then shoots a layup when he gets the ball. While that person is doing the drill, start the first guy in the next line and proceed to do the same thing.

Tips

Try to keep 2 players going at once so they have to maneuver around other wheelchairs while doing the drill.
