Road runner

Coming off a pick down the lane and catching a blind pass, then shooting can be a difficult skill to develop for any player. This drill rolls them all together in a seamless transition.

Instructions

1 player at each low blocks, setting a pick. The rest of the players in a line at the top of the key. Player 1 in line does not have a ball to start. Players 2 and 3 in line do. Player 1 runs down the lane, and hooks behind the player on the left block, who is setting a pick! As they come off the screen, player 2 (at the top of the key) passes the ball to her and proceeds to run down the lane to the right block, behind the screen, and player 3 passes to them. The people setting the picks, get the rebound from the shot across from them and return to the top of the key line. I love this drill!

Tips

Fast crisp passes and paying attention is vital in this drill.
